Quality Tools with a nice finish and sturdy carrying case

I already own these socket sizes in the USA versions but wanted this set to dedicate t tire changes only since they put together in a very nice easy to open plastic case. I like the set and am happy with the purchase. The socket walls are slightly thinner than my regular impact sockets but I think that is the point since many cars have limited access to remove the lug nuts. The look and finish of the sockets are much nicer than my older USA versions but that does not mean they are stronger. Only time will tell but as of now they are working well. I use an Ingersoll Rand 231C impact gun with these like most other mechanics. I like USA made products but am more concerned with total quality so we'll see how these last. as for now I must be honest and report that these are top notch and look better than my older ones.

    Misleading photo

Upon reviewing several sets, the photo of this set clearly shows "Made in USA".  It's made in China.  While the set seems heavy enough, I could have saved money by getting a set from **************, Northern Tool, or even ***** or **********.  Sears like everyone else is being taken over by the bean counters who could care less about quality and American jobs.

They ARE easy to read. The sizes are also stamped into the sockets. I like the re-usable blow-molded case...It has a carrying handle. They are thick-walled, deep-set, 6-point. I have not used them yet, but from the looks and feel of them I don't expect any problems. If, after using, I encounter some problem, I will update this review.
