Very effective

This is a good product and cuts very well however I am partially disabled and it is hard for me to reach even with the long pole. My 16 yr old daughter and my husband have no problem lifting it. It's not heavy however for me it is awkward.

Damaged

|

Had to order pole saw twice. Item arrived in damaged box, scuffed up handle. Had to place a second order. Second order arrived in a NON-CRAFTSMAN BOX??? Scuffed up handle. Very disappointed. Makes me wonder if items being sold are opened boxes, returned items, or damaged in wear house???

Could not assemble

The locking nut between the base unit and the extension pole would not tighten properly, although the other locking nut between the extension pole and the saw unit worked fine. A customer assistance call to Craftsman was routed to Sears, whose repair expert said they didn't have anyone who knew about those products. An e-mail to Craftsman customer service never got any response. Had to return it.

I was waiting to use this item until it was delivered The box was tape up as if someone opened and return it back for some reason and then it was sent to me I then look at the beat up box trying to figure out what is wrong with the item I then return it back to the store loosing my rewards for buying it and returning it what a waste of time. Right to this day I do not know if it was a return or recondition item. I was not going to be stuck with it later and regret keeping it. I will try and by it again hoping that I get a brand new one in the box.

Faulty; cuts TOO well

|

Yesterday I had issues with the saw staying engaged for several seconds after releasing the triggers. Today it stayed engaged for at least 30 seconds before deciding to turn off! Great if you want to indiscriminately menace greenery, sheds, etc.
