Lightweight. Plenty of power for around my lawn. Easy to assemble. Works great as an edger (next to concrete) via the adjustable head. Love that I don't have to deal with gas in my shed; I just rest it in the shed and i'm done; just grab and pull the trigger when I want to use it too.
The battery was charged overnight and still only worked in 3 or 4 second burst the next day. I returned the trimmer immediately since it was already late fall. Will await to spring to resume looking for a better cordless trimmer.
this trimmer is a total hunk of junk.
wobbly joints, intermittent on/off when holding the trigger for extended periods (Thinking safety but cant confirm)
purchased as a gift when the gas one took a dive.
Now the head just free spins the line right out if the head. looked several times and for the life of me I cant see why all of the sudden its on a freewheel.
frustrated looking for parts.
I used this line trimmer at the end of the season for about a month. nothing heavy just around the property to clean up the edge.
tip of August and need to buy yet another line trimmer.
I will NEVER purchase another Craftsman product.
This is the second craftsmen weedeater I’ve gotten from Sears the first one was gas powered and was defective straight out of the box the second was this one I got on warranty and I’ve only had it a few months used it to do a 3 ft spot along the sidewalk and the head twisted off!
Do not buy craftsmen weedeaters and do not buy from Sears they peddle pure trash and don’t give you a good enough warranty to replace it with anything else but more trash
Not enough power to get the job done, not happy at all
Great weedeater. I had the previous model for years, then finally wore it out. No worries with this one.
