Another excellent Craftsman product!

If you can't get it started, look on the side of the motor for instructions. Make sure you pull the **** out straight, do not bend it. Use ear and eye protection, this trimmer has a ton of power. Tilt it and use it as an edger. This is the 2nd gas powered Craftsman lawn product I have purchased and I am very happy with both items. Excellent buy and very dependable.

Not a good trimmer at all!!!

I bought this trimmer 3 months ago. Right from the beginning I didn't like the trimmer head with the dual spool it kept jamming on me! Also, it never seemed to run on an idle right from day one! But, I thought it would get better, I was wrong! Like I said, It worked OK for the first couple of times I used it, besides the spool head and shutting off while idling, but just last week I tried to use it and it took for ever for it to start! I actually had to use it at half choke because it wouldn't stay on with no choke! It's too late to return it so I am trying to see if I can adjust and get some use out of it! I wish I had returned it!!!! Basically a POS! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this trimmer!!!!

P.O.S.

|

bogs down and dies when turned to an angle to achieve edging, bogs down in moderate density weeds, bumper for line broke in under a year of use. customer service was of no use and wasted my time. total P.O.S.! and sears just lost a long time customer, SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA MONEY ON SOMETHING NICE. I only trusted this product because of all the good reviews....wrong choice
