Extremely hard to start- DO NOT BUY

Bought this weed trimmer because of the easy start feature. I have used it three times, it is almost impossible to start. Once I get it started, it does an okay job, but when the advertised feature of this trimmer is the "East Start"...you would expect more out of this Craftsman product. Extremely disappointed, I should have spent a few more dollars and gotten the more reputable brand. "Easy Start" is not easy to start.

worst yard equipment ever owned

|

This weekwacker would not start. The starting instructions were ridiculous. When it did start [rarely] the only way to keep it running was at full throttle with the trigger pulled all the way. If I had to shut it off after it was warmed up, it would never start. It meant continuing the job the next day. Really badly engineered. Been using Craftsman yard equipment since the 80s but replaced this with an Echo which is great.

One use and died

|

I used this weed eater 1 time for about 30 minutes. Would not crank again. I used the mix that came with it with ethanol free gas. I took it to the local Sears authorized repair shop. When I picked it back up he barely got it to crank and told me these are cheap trimmers for people who can't afford any better. So much for craftsman quality. They might want to reconsider sending you to repair shops that tell you thier product is ****.

Stopped working after 2nd time of use

|

DO not buy this item. I’m here at sears and tried to return this item because it stopped working after 2nd time of use. I can’t return it anymore because it is more than 30 days since I purchased this item online from sears website and I already lost my receipt. Well it doesn’t have a receipt because I bought it online. Be careful on buying an online item that cannot be picked up from store because once it is not available for store pickup then they will tell you that it is not on their system because it was purchased online and delivered to your home.
