Description Specifications
Consolidate Wrenches with this Craftsman 8 in. Max Axess Locking Wrench The Craftsman 8 in. Max Axess locking wrench does the job of 14 wrenches from 1/2 to 3/4 inches and 12 to 20mm. You get a custom grip with this versatile wrench, and you get the benefit of taking one wrench with you rather than a handful. This one wrench is responsible for freeing up your tool chest or tool bag for other items. This adaptable custom locking wrench will soon be your favorite wrench because it uses six steel blocks that slip nicely into place around both nuts and bolts. This Craftsman 8 in. Max Axess locking wrench adapts and adjusts with little effort to a wide range of fastener sizes and shapes for use on many different projects. It also grips fasteners on all sides, which helps to prevent the rounding effect no one wants. The secure locking feature provides more torque for more user-generated power.

  • The Craftsman 8 in. Max Axess locking wrench replaces 14 different sized wrenches because it is adjustable
  • The sturdy, dual-material ergonomically-designed handle cushions your hand and also helps prevent slippage
  • Once your wrench is securely in place, each block locks ensuring a close-to-perfect fit
  • The fastener scale offers you the ability to make accurate, quick and convenient adjustments tailored to each job's specifications
  • By using this adjustable locking wrench you free up a great deal of space for other tools or items you need to carry with you to the job

A Quality Tool

This is a versatile tool that I find useful. When they first hit the shelves I thought they were only a novelty item but I have found many uses where it is indispensable such as a chisel holder. The design of this tool allows you to lock on to a chisel for example in a 360 degree hold verses my standard chisel holders that have a 180 degree grip. This prevents the chisel from flying out if it loosens while striking. There are hundreds of other uses but this is by far my favorite. I have another original brand of this style wrench however it lacks the locking feature that I feel is a must. In fact it is my opinion that a tool like this is absolutely worthless without locking capability. I love tools that are made in the USA but don't want to talk down tools that are quality made just because they are made elsewhere. The grips are comfortable, the jaws are strong and made of hardened materials and the spring loaded handles operate smoothly. I own the 6' model and liked it so I purchased the 8" model to add to my tool arsenal. I recommend the tool & think it has a placed in every professionals tool chest.

Poor quality, knock off

This product is not the same as the real Loggerhead pro-gear Bionic wrench. The quality is ****, bought it for my dad after bragging about my pro-gear wrench. He gave it back and said he wasn't going to use any tool not made in America. I used it for a week and the grip starting peeling back. Buyer beware

Gets the job done

It's a little big for automotive, but it's still a really cool gadget. Can't tell you that I've really used it or have needed to use it.
