Bought this one for home use. Sockets are good for everything I tried them on and they're very well organized on a high quality box. The supplied adapters, once I installed them on either the ratchet or the extension, to remove them, I needed to use a small hammer, but that's OK, IDC.
I purchased this set online after looking at them in a store. They came in a timely manner. This past weekend (6/1/13) I needed to work on my motorcycle and the reason I purchased this set was to be able to work in small spaces. None of the metric or imperial sockets were the correct size for any of the bolts or nuts on my bike. I ended up using my old socket set to do the work. This was very disappointing to say the least. I contacted Sears today and they are either replacing or refunding my purchase. I inquired to find out if this has been a problem for other people who have purchased these sockets. One thing to note: I was transferred to a Craftsman specialist. That person was clueless about the socket set and / or any complaints about the sockets not correctly machined. And this was suppose to be a supervisor specialist. The recommendation was to send me to a web site called **********************. It does not seem to have any information regarding the problem I was asking about
After placing this order on two different occasions it never arrived was never shipped never delivered what a disappointment. Customer service was able to assist me with refunding my points and the money I spent to make the purchase they were easy and great to work with.
Christmas gift, I'm sure it will be a great!! Got a great deal, too.
I haven’t had a lot of projects to tackle with this set yet, but for the few I have it has been a very solid set with a good feel to it and all the parts fit properly in the case.. There is a bit of wiggle on with fit, but that is just the function of how the set works. It was a little disconcerting at first, but it didn’t hurt functionality at all.
