This head for a line trimmer is easy to install. Easy to use and replace trimmer line. Heavier trimmer line works great, save cost by buyin spool and cutting your own lengths.
I hate this trimmer head. It came on the 32cc I purchased last year. I work for a professional lawn service part time and this thing would never make it. First, you waste 6 inches of line every time you change it. Second, I would spend more time changing the line rather than getting the work done. On average I would change the trimmer line once every five yards using the Stihl with a bump and go. But just doing my yard with the "hassle free" I have to replace the line 4 or 5 times. AND!!! Don't try to edge with it. I edged my driveway with it the other day and had to cut 6 pieces of line to get the job done. Entirely too slow. The 32cc trimmer is great, but the head is junk. I'm going to Sears Saturday to see about finding another trimmer head. If not, I'm buying an aftermarket bump and go. I gave it one star because you can't give it a zero.
They said next day delivery my order said they had in stock in the store process to pick up same day now they say it won’t be in till 27 September I was on my way to pick it up today can I see why they change the date if they had it in stock
Bought this Craftsman replacement to replace the original head on my Craftsman Weed Eater. Took it all apart and it won't work on my Straight Shaft Weed Eater. Tried to call the number on the package and unable to get a hold of them. Tried to go on-line to contact customer service - to no avail. Not Happy!!!
I bought this a few weeks ago... after putting in my "Craftsman" model number and seeing this "fits most." I purchased from a "Craftsman" sight and a "Craftsman" product... IT DOESN'T FIT... there is NO WAY it can be installed ! Not worth the trouble to send back.... do more checking prior to purchase !
