I have had my snowblower for 5 years now and it has worked flawlessly. I think the problems the other reviewers are having is because ethanol based fuels don't have the longevity of 100% gasoline. I think it's imperative that you add FUEL STABIL to the gas tank otherwise these ethanol based fuels will gum up the carburetor. As long as you use fuel stabil with every tank and do basic maintenance this will last. It's a great snowblower for the money and i'm very happy with my purchase.
OK listen up everyone. I have solved the won't start issue that so many of you have reported. The issue is a stuck float valve or needle in the carburetor. You just need to bang on the carburetor with your hand and shake the snowblower around so it comes free. Prime it with gas again and try to start it again. It may take several times and it starts hard but keep at it. This worked for me and for my manager who has the same model. But yes, I agree with all comments that Sears, Craftsman, and their offshore incomprehensible customer support is at the end of its reign as king. Good luck everyone and I hope this helps solve your issue.
Easy to navigate and got the job done for my parents. Great purchase for the cost. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller snow blower
Doesnt have enough power to throw the snow . The pulley to jumpstart the machine is stuck and needs repair in less than a year since purchased. Just buy a better brand and pay extra to make your money's worth.
Many people have problems with this machine. Bought it for less than 1 year and from spring to fall it does start again. We cleaned the fuel, replaced the new buried still did not work. :( home service is a joke. They want you to bring the machine to their shop to fix that. Impossible for a woman with 2 little kids to bring their with a car. Dont buy.
Only lasted one season before a part broke off that controlled steering. With all Sears stores closing, I'm unable to get the repair fixed under warranty. Shame on me for buying from a dying business chain.
Great snowblower for my two cars drive way, always gets the job done nice and easy, it helped me with more than 6 inches of snow without any problem, highly recommended!
