When I was younger, I never thought much about dust, except that when you made dust, it meant you were working. Now I realize what a health menace it is. Besides just being a mess. I've been using these dust bags, along with a super fine dust filter. The bags do a terrific job of trapping almost everything, and the filter gets the rest. My only complaint has to do with the vacuum itself. The design of the nozzle inside the vac is super poor for attaching the bag. So I modified it by cutting off the deflector and duct taping an adaptor into it. It works much better now, but the downside is the full force of the blast goes straight into the bag, which means if you suck up a screw or something else like that, it will blow a hole right through the bag, reducing its effectiveness. But - if you can avoid that, it's a good solution. Bottom line, I feel a whole lot better using these bags than I do without using them.
These bags are extremely overpriced! You used to get 3 bags in a package but now its only 2 and the price is outrageous. I think i paid enough for bags to rebuy the vacuum 2 or 3 times already.
Fit my 12 gallon craftsman vac perfectly. Good value too.
