I bought this set for my dad to go along with his Dewalt cordless impact wrench. He tends to work on larger tractor and trucks so we wanted to get him something heavier duty than normal sockets. It's also nice that the size of the socket is large and easy to read against the black.
A great addition to my 1/2" impact sockets
Sadly, this product, like most of Craftsman tools, has been downgraded to Chinese manufacturing standards. No longer a high quality American product, despite the Chat Rep Roston's insistence that this SKU was indeed still made in the USA. No longer a great product at a great price. Craftsman products are now simply "fair" at best. Too bad, Sears really blew it . . . their loyal customer base is forced to look elsewhere for quality tools. The problem is, where to go. What's left of American-made tools are too specialized and cost prohibitive for most DIYers. Glad I purchased most of my Craftsman collection years ago. BTW, I have found the Wright Tools offers great American products (American sourced materials as well) that are much more reasonable than Snap-On, Proto, etc.
