You won't be sucking the chrome off any bumpers with this thing but it is handy. Just slap a battery in it and you are ready to get the inside of the car done in a hurry. Emptying the dust bin is not the slickest operation but its doable and pretty efficient. With the addition of a mini adapter kit it should be great for cleaning up computers and keyboards. If you already have the C3 battery this would definitely be a good, reasonable addition to your arsenal of tools. Might be a little steep pricewise if you don't have any other Sears C3 battery tools.
I bought this because I wanted a portable vacuum to use with my C3 system. The power is just not there, either vac or blower. But, the most frustrating thing is the accessory skirt must be removed to detach the blower. What a terrible design. Sears needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. A well-designed blower/vac would be an excellent addition to the C3 system. I opted for the C3 hand vac and it is much more suited for my needs.
great product, great ad on my c3 tools
If you get this beastly little 2-in-1 vacuum/blower combo, while it's on sale and/or use a coupon or some surprise points to go with that, then you have yourself deal! But aside from that I honestly don't know if I would have ever paid full price for this vac entirely out of pocket. Don't get me wrong it's a great powerful little vac, I just keep it in my car to hit the dust that collects on my dash & accessories with one of the attachments, and to do a thorough detail job in all the nooks and crannies of the carpet and upholstery with the other provided attachments. But you have to have the XCP HIGH CAPACITY 4.0Ah Lithium Battery for it to have any actual power or runtime! So unless you have at least one XCP battery I would not recommend that you purchase this vacuum/blower combo.
This C3 vacuum is one of my favorite tools bare none. The Vacuum does a great job with the C3 battery system batteries but don't expect to use the smaller Litium Ion battery and vacuum a full sized SUV for 20 minutes non-stop. I have two batteries and I can do a car with a smaller Lithium Ion battery. The larger battery would be fine for a fitly large SUV. Don't purchase without the correct battery or you'll be disappointed. If you do use the correct battery, this is perfect for your car as well as smaller dry vac jobs inside the hose.
Disappointed that it didn't come with the charger or battery. However, I purchased the Diehard 19.2 V set. You must charge it more than 30 minutes. I let it charge 10-12 hours. It is great for stairs, couches, mattresses, radiators, around toilets, and any other hard to reach area(s). I'm currently testing to see how long the charge last after being charged for 12 hours. I will update you on this.
Love the idea of a cordless vaccuum? This Craftsman 19.2 Volt Wet/Dry is ideal for cleaning the car, truck, camper, garage, basement, & more! With its powerful suction and the convenience of not having to untangle a cord- Craftsman definitely has my approval! Now, if you could just make a house vacuum this powerful .....(Just remember to read the fine print, "battery sold separately.")
