Amazing product

These hose clamp pliers are an amazing product and I would highly recommend. I used them for swapping my coolant expansion tank on a 2000 986 Porsche Boxster S. It was a must have as most of the clamps you can barely see and would be impossible to remove with standard pliers. These also make removing easy to reach hose clamps easier to remove as they are very precise and don't slip off the clamps as standard pliers are bad about doing

Under normal use, one of the brackets that pinches the hose clamps, broke

Under normal use, the second time, one of the brackets that's use to pinch the hose clamp, broke clean off. Fortunately, this was not a mission critical tool at the time and I was able to use a standard set of vise grip needle nose pliers to do the pinch the hose clamp. I'll upgrade my rating depending on my experience with trying to get this replaced. I only wish the brackets on these were beefier, and I wish they were made in the US, not Taiwan. But I guess that's better than China. I've never broken a pre-2012 Craftsman tool. I hope this isn't a new trend, me breaking post-2012 Craftsman tools made overseas.

Flawed tool design

Does not work. Did not open clamp far enough to disengage

Great Tool

This is a great tool for removing hard to reach hose clamps. The part of the tool that connects to the hose clamp has two sides so it is compatible with small and large hoses.
