The 39454 24 Inch Craftsman Magnetic Aluminum level has a strong, anodized I-beam frame with a magnetic edge. It includes shock absorbing end plates to help prevent damage to the level from drops.

I have a few 12" and 48" levels, but have needed one in between for a few jobs I've done, including leveling a floor in a small bathroom and laying tiles. The magnetic strip on the side makes this easy to store; I just stick it on the side of one of my cabinets, which keeps out of harms way when not in use. And the one I got is made in the USA! So far, so good.
I placed my order on November 5th it is now January 13th still haven't received any of my items, they have had the money held in my account since November also. Please don't order from sears or sears market place they obviously do not care about their business or customers.
