Craftsman Oil Filter Wrench - Removes Spin-On Filters With Ease

My Craftsman YTS 4000 tractor was due for an oil and filter change to prepare for the winter plowing season.  My automotive oil filter wrench was too large.  I purchased a Craftsman Swivel Grip Oil Filter Wrench that is perfect for the job.  This particular wrench, #2820521, fits the smaller oil filters ranging in size from 2 7/8" - 3 1/4".  The one inch wide stainless steel ban tightens as you turn the wrench. This band easily slips around the oil filter giving a positive grip.   The swivel grip handle allows for using the wrench when there is not much room to work in.

This is one of those tools that makes changing an oil filter easy.  Best of all, it is backed by the Craftsman Hand Tool Full Warranty. If you need to change an oil filter and need a wrench that is easy to use, I urge you to buy the Craftsman Swivel Grip Oil Filter Wrench, #2820521..I'm glad I did!

Does the job

Simple yet effective tool. The rubber grip is comfortable. The handle is somewhat stiff but I'm sure it could be lubed and will loosen some over time.

Works like a champ

These steel band wrenches are useful far beyond their price range. When i picked mine up, it looked like it was older stock. The packaging was faded and the tool had a lirtle rust on it, but it works perfectly. I prefer these to thr new rubber strap wrenches. Heavy duty and easy to maintain
