I bought the backpack to carry my tools for commercial hvac service. It frees up your hands to safely climb ladders and is easier to get through roof hatches than carrying a bag. It works good for me, the side pockets are great for a meter and the front pouch is great for small tools/parts. The room inside is great for a compact drill and a small parts box. It keeps everything organized and saves trips to the van. I have quite a bit of stuff in it, and from all the weight it did have a hard time staying upright on its own. I made a frame on the inside out of steel tubing to keep it sturdy.
I've used this bag for 8 months and the stitching on the zipper started to come out. I've called Sears and Craftsman and was told because the word "Tool" was not in the title it is just a back pack. That means there is not a warranty covering it. I thought Craftsman stood behind their name. It's a great bag if you don't put tools in it.
This bag is not heavy duty. I carried just a few tools in it for working away from my service truck. One of the plastic adjusters busted on the strap with not much weight in it. Its a sewed on part. Bought this on Black Friday and didnt get much use out of it,
