Universal little chair

We purchase the Craftsman Mechanics Creeper as a shop chair. But it turns out it is getting used in my office along with everywhere outside. It is comfortable and with the shelf below allows me to put my files to be put away later in the day.. LOVE IT

Not as good as the Black one it replaced.

This is not as good as the Black made in the USA model it replaced. This Red model is made overseas. It has a lower weight capacity. I have only used mine lightly over the past three months, and the red vinyl covering is starting to peel off the padding, and peeling off the black trim part that holds it to the foam padding. Because of that, the seat is starting to fall apart. It also has less padding in the seat, and the seat is not as wide as the black model. This is not near the same quality as the older black model. It seems like this one that used to be a great USA made seat that lasted forever has been cheapened up as it went offshore, and is now more or less a throw away quality seat you use for a year or so and then it gets trashed. The seat reminds me of a cheap weight bench material that tears up after a year, and is not very comfortable.

Just what I needed

perfect for those brake jobs and other low end automotive work that doesn't require an under vehicle creeper, there are other models out there but with back support, this model makes the work get done in comfort.

my new scoot around in the shop

Very heavy made, heck of a deal. Only negative was one nut was missing in parts but easy to replace with one on hand. I also added my own magnet to the bottom of the tray and it keeps all parts/tools from sliding.
