It was fairly easy to install and get running. The unit operates very quietly. and cost was very affordable.
Got the heavier duty version just to make sure it would perform and last (old garage door opener lasted over 20 years). Installed well and not problem; and for 23 months it was good. Now works intermittently and advised it is logic board problem. Costing another $160 for them to come in and hopefully fix. A new product that can't last even a couple years is not a good product. Thought I was getting Sears reliability (like my washer/dryer/refrigerator/stove/dishwasher) but I guess that is changing and can't stand behind the products anymore :(
I bought the garage door opener for $149. Brought it home and found their was no rails with it. When went ba k to Sears they told me I have to buy them separate for 75 dollars Returned it and went to lowes and for the same price I got a Chapman with rails and wifi. Same price
Bought to replace my 35 year old opener
Bought this opener to replace one that was only a few years old. So far, so good.
