I carry it when I carry no other tools, since the day I found a pair while hitch-hiking on Hwy. 40 outside of Nashville. My only beef is that they put it at 1.1 lbs.. They need to be more honest and list it at a few ounces. It's one of the tool's selling points and there's no reason to try to wring out a few more shipping bucks.
I've carried these pliers for over 30 years. You can't fly with them but otherwise they are always with me. My dad carried them for a good many years. I use them for something every day. You can pry the lid off a beer bottle, snip the loose ends of fishing line after you tie the knot, untie stubborn knots in rope. I can't tell you how many times these little pliers have gotten me out of trouble.
These pliers are perfect for my wife and her art work
This is a classic Craftsman offering unchanged over the years except for comfort Grips. Once you have it on you, you’ll be amazed how useful it is, from retrieving items in hard to reach places to prying and gripping items difficult to hold between your fingers. A winner made by Wilde Tool for Craftsman, I believe. They make several great USA Craftsman products.
I saw these and just had to have them. I plan to at least five more, they are very useful and I don't know how I got along without them.
