Craftsman Incandescent Work Light with 30 ft. Retractable Reel with Steel Enclosure this is one of those lights that come in really handy for working in tight places. It is great hanging over the engine of the vehicles my husband is working on. This was the best Christmas gift his Mom could have ever given him. He absolutely loves it.
I was not able to close the light bulb cage. Either the cage or the shroud was squashed. After some bending with a pliers, I was able to get to closed.

Well made. Some minor issues.
|I bought this as a gift for my brother. These are his observations:
1. The obvious place to mount this overhead is near the outlet that supplies the garage door opener. Mounting the reel far enough away from the opener to not get tangled causes the electrical supply cord to be stretched out. This keeps the reel from fully rotating side-to-side.
The cord needs to be longer to allow the reel to be mounted away from the outlet and still fully rotate.
2. The magnet is a bit weak. The weight of the light causes it to slide out of position at times. The magnet can be removed from the light when you don't need it.
3. Some type of non-scratch cover for the magnet would also be useful (although it would tend to make point 2 worse).
Positive points: It is well-made and solid. The hook can be rotated and has detents to hold it in position. The ball on the reel cord is adjustable to set how far the light hangs below the reel when reeled-in. The reel action is smooth.
