After owning the chair for 3 months, with limited use, it started to come apart. The stitching on the arm that holds the fabric to the frame came undone and won't stay on the arm. There is a screw that attaches the fabric to the arm of the frame fell out because the cheap fabric ripped. I have spent far less on much better chairs.
This is the Best folding chair, true to the XL size in the hip area, very sturdy, and comfortable. I was also very pleased that the chair sits higher than other folding chairs making it easy to get out of. I'm 5ft 6 1/2 my knees are bent at a 90 degree angle in this chair. In other chairs like this I am sitting in a hole with my knees raised. The height of the chair made it much easier to get out of for everyone in the family from teens to seniors, taller and shorter than myself. A defendant buy and my go to chair now.
Funny story! My wife and I live in Charlotte, NC and the 3rd Weekend in Oct we drove up to the Great Balloon Festival near Statesville, NC (1hr away). Knowing that it would be along day I packed our "red" folding chairs and off we went. We parked at the remote bus parking and toted ourselves and chairs over to the festival.
After paying the entrance fee, we identified a "spot" to set-up our chairs before walking around the festival to grab a "dog" and "funnel cake", before the liftoff of the great balloon launch scheduled at/around 4;00pm.
Around 3pm we decided to go and relax and found our "red chairs" where we has left them 2 hours earlier. Located up on a nice level resting area overlooking the balloon field. We sat in "our" chairs and which I recall as so comfortable and relaxed for almost an hour as we watching as some +50 balloonist arrive -both anticipating the great "balloon launch".
Suddenly at 4pm, two ladies interrupted our casual conversation and stated that my wife and I were in "their red" chairs. Our first response was, "no" these are our red chairs. However, as I lifted myself from the chair and reviewed the chairs closer (which we had comfortable rested in for over an hour) I saw Craftsman and knew at that point they were not our chairs! We were so embarrassed! Yet, thankful to them for sharing their comfort chairs. See, I am 6'5" and my wife is 5'10" and never have we found a folding chair which we would ever say is "comfortable"!
It was not long after leaving the Craftsman chairs and finding our own "red" chairs, we were committed to purchasing our own Craftsman Red chairs!!
Hence, my wife and I now own our own Craftsman folding chairs and are so excited to hopefully enjoy our own "red Craftsman chairs" and watch the balloons lift next year in Statesville, NC.
