Auto Throttle Control Broke on 2 Pressure Washers - Frustrating

Assembly was easy and direct. Good instructions. Engine started on the 1st pull. The 1st unit I brought home worked properly for 30 minutes and then the auto throttle control stopped working and the engine ran full time on its highest speed. Sears gave me a replacement unit. It started on the 1st pull and ran great for about an hour and then the exact same thing happened. The engine would not "throttle down" when the pressure washer gun was released - stopping the flow of water - like it should have. Again, the throttle linkage was now forced (due to some spring assembly) on the highest setting. Very disappointing to be in the mood to do some major cleaning and have to send the brand new unit back for service. At least I bought the extended warranty.

Good Washer

I have had mine for a few years and still works well. Had to replace the pressure hose and it is a bit noisy.

3 minutes in and it shut down

|

I bought this unit to clean my house and keep our vehicles clean. the unit fired right up once i put gas in it and pulled the starter 2 times. once running the auto throttle seemed to keep the performance to a lower level. however it was still working ok. I had cleaned about 10' of our house and the unit just stopped pumpimg water. I checked all my hoses and water flow and it was flowing just fine to the unit. apon looking into the issue further I found the water pump had seized up. 3 minutes and this unit was junk!

Runs once but won't restart

|

Pressure washer ran once and would not restart after that. Then carburetor flooded and leaked all the gas out of the gas tank. Only had the pressure washer 4 months (past 30 days return periods). Top of the line $300+ pressure washer and all Sears would offer is for me to bring the item in for repair. If it is found to be a manufacturers defect, than repair is covered. What else could it be? Never again. For sale slightly used pressure washer that may start.

Excellent pressure - gas guzzler

|

This pressure washer is the right amount of Psi for cleaning siding and fences. Did NOT come with containers to hook up the soap. We had to refill the gas very often however the pressure was consistant.made our wood fence and siding look brand new!

Very Pleased

|

This pressure washer does everything it's advertised to do. It was easy to assemble, easy to use, is strong enough to do some tough jobs, and has all the attachments needed to do a households basic pressure washing needs.

The motor starts easy and the "quiet sense" auto throttle works well. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
