I've owned several Craftsman boxes and have used many other techs Craftsman boxes. Nothing compares to what they accomplished with the pro series. The quality of everything is excellent. The drawers slide and lock very nicely even without any weight. The included mats are of great quality and have perfect fit. The smart lock feature feels rushed. It works, but if a drawer is open just a little it jams the lock. They could have polished the parts a bit more too its just a generic 4 pot AA battery holder that hangs on one of the supports that moves an actuator into the locking rod. The smart lock feature sold me. I thought I would use it very frequently but I almost never do. However this feature with the automatic lock/unlock is a must for someone who works in a big dealership environment or if the salesman are constantly 'borrowing' your tools to install license plates and accessories. 10/10 have already recommended this box to several people. Just wish it came in other colors!
I bought this especially because of the smart lock feature. About 600 more than the next one comparable to this. The app never worked as described. 2 and a half moths later I decide to use the app and lock it, now it won't connect roe can I unlock with the key. My tools are hostage and no one at sears and craftsman customer support have any clue as how to get this open. Calling customer support for this is worthless.
Out of the box with broken spot welds that hold wheel brackets and bottom frame support. The drawer lock does not function.
Took 5 months to complete purchase. Sears canceled orders, claimed back order, popular item, they simply failed.
Sized right, Layout decent, though quality could be better.
Purchased for layout and Size, Read complaints about the Locking App ( I probably will not use)

Customer service *****, My wife tried to make Purchase in May (5 months ago) and each time the order was canceled. Customer service ?Claimed? To try to help place order that again failed. They then offered % Discount Which again Order canceled. One excuse after another. Each associate stating they will Push the order and Follow to make sure it goes through. My wife finally gave up.. It came on Sale so I decided I would purchase it. Looked on line and found it was Available At local Store, Drove out Associate spent 30-45 minutes trying to locate (not there).
SO I tried to purchase online. Next day Receive email Ready for pick up. Head to Sears to find Order was Canceled and NOT THERE. Go back online Customer service State they will follow and make sure order is placed and offers 20% off.. But I have to PAY AGAIN as the first canceled order sears still has the money, SO Provide my Card numbers again Make purchase, Now sears had double the amount in their bank. This Time they have me call another Number to explain the issue and to verify order. I do So few days go by and no refund, Speak to a Associate and they will push the refund I explain the past issues and did not plan to pay Double as Bills to pay. Assure me they will speed up refund and will give another 10% PLUS a bunch of Points . So week goes by No refund, I get a Overdraft from Bank and Insufficient funds from Mortgage company. Reach out to Sears again and state they will push refund and follow order. tool box Finally arrives, and still no refund. Associate states I can return box but that refund will take 3-5 days, even though I am still waiting for the Canceled Order refund..
Canceled order refund finally goes through, Reach out to customer service about the 20+10 % refund offered for my troubles and Stated they will NOT be giving me a 30% refund, only 20% as originally offered Not to mention the Fees I received from my bank and Mortgage for overdraft and Insufficient fees. I argue the issue get no where, few days goes by still no refund No 30% no 20%.. Few more days goes by I reach out again.. (YES You offered I want it) Associate states No one has started the process and will only be able to do the 20% as a Floor manager stated.. Starts the process and Finally today I see the the 20% is in account.. oh and the BIG Points offered, they are spaced out so only a few are available for each week for so many weeks.. so to retrieve I would have to make several purchases every week to gain.. Thanks NOT
This toolbox arrived and was unusable. I spent an entire day taking the lower portion of the toolbox apart and reassembling it properly so that I could mount the casters.
Craftsman offered no customer support.
I do not recommend Craftsman.
