Necessity

My buddy loaned me his and I liked it so much I bought my own. I call this my magic tool. Because whenever I have a job to do around the house, this is my go-to tool. It is great oft everything from maying straight cuts through sheetrock and siding to sanding difficult spots. If you work around the house, this is a must have.

Warrantied for 12 months, died at 13 months

I only used it 3 or 4 times the fist 12 months I owned it and was very pleased with it's performance. But to die one month after the warranty is up is not like a Craftsman tool. At least the one I bought has quality issues

Don't know how I did without one of these

|

Got this a few years ago to cut in an outlet while visiting relatives on the east coast. Seemed like overkill at the time but a friend had told me how useful this type of tool is. Since, I have done many jobs which I don't see how I could have done without this tool. Installing a door in a bathroom the other day I used it half a dozen time for tasks I couldn't have done otherwise. I use it almost exclusively for sawing and that is worth the cost. I love the easy blade change feature on this particular model. The light has been helpful too.

A good tool to own

|

I purchased this multi-tool since it was on sale and offered a very good value. Based on other brands and models, the full price of the Craftsman is somewhat over-priced. The quick release feature is a must and the assortment of attachments are good. You can pay a good deal for these if purchased separately. Tool performance is good and my needs were met. This model is slightly larger and heavier than most. Overall a good buy especially with the sale price.
