Craftsman Ratcheting Tube and Pipe Cutter

Based on the recommendation of other CC members I grabbed one of these the other day for some work I was doing in the garage.  I recently added a large air compressor and a retractable hose reel and I had a temporary hose between the two and finally got around to adding a copper pipe in the middle.

I bought the pipe and started cutting away.  Yes, it is a brand new tool and one expects it to cut fast and clean but I never expected I wouldn't actually have to ream the cuts (though I did) since they were so clean!

Thanks guys and Craftsman!

Dont buy

I bought a pair of these about a year ago and they break every time I use them. I take them back and they replace them. Great idea but they are not built well. The feed screw strips out after the first use.

It works great for awhile then it seems get hard to turn or breaks. I just return it and get a new one when I do have a problem. its great to get into tight areas and for the average person I would say its not the best but not the worst tool
