Based on the recommendation of other CC members I grabbed one of these the other day for some work I was doing in the garage. I recently added a large air compressor and a retractable hose reel and I had a temporary hose between the two and finally got around to adding a copper pipe in the middle.
I bought the pipe and started cutting away. Yes, it is a brand new tool and one expects it to cut fast and clean but I never expected I wouldn't actually have to ream the cuts (though I did) since they were so clean!
Thanks guys and Craftsman!
I bought a pair of these about a year ago and they break every time I use them. I take them back and they replace them. Great idea but they are not built well. The feed screw strips out after the first use.
It gets rusty with water
Great item, compact, other simillar products from other companies are too big for tight spaces. Overal great tool
Wish I purchased this years ago. So easy to use and a time saver. Showed this too the guys I worked with and now they need one too.
Great plumbing tool my most important, for pipe cutting in tight areas.
It works great for awhile then it seems get hard to turn or breaks. I just return it and get a new one when I do have a problem. its great to get into tight areas and for the average person I would say its not the best but not the worst tool
