I have a 12 gallon/5hp at home and expected a little more power out of this 5hp. It is WAY nicer for in-home use and carrying around the house. More powerful than our upright vac and the long hose and attachments are very convenient. Plenty of power for cleaning in the house, but I would not recommend it for bigger jobs.
bought back in October and used it and its march and I'm throwing it in the trash nut that holds filter on falls off constantly and lays in the bottom of the can ended up getting dumped out last time it was emptied. evey time we opened it the filter had fallen off sad only 5 month use and its garbage
Back in 2002, I bought a small Craftsman vacuum like this one. After more than 17 years of "super-sucking" messes, cars, cobwebs and more, my trusty vacuum finally decided it was one more wet mess away from a fate worse than death. While it still works, it's very loud and scary.
That leads me to this product review;
My new replacement utility vacuum is awesome! Just as powerful and versatile as the one I replaced, in fact it's even better! All of my hose-end tools fit and the canister follows even better than the old one, more stable even as the big wheels will transition any surface with ease. A great value, and as good of investment as the last one, I hope it ***** as long as the last one did!
Overall structure is good. There is no room for extra attachments. Hose diameter is smaller than another brand that I owned with same horsepower but the suction is not as good. Not what I expected from a Craftsman brand product.
Used twice and found it to be easy, quiet, and effective, as advertised.
