before purchasing this product I read the reviews posted online from people who actually used this product. Yes, even though the reviews were accurate, I still am happy with my decision to buying this product. the flaws are minor and easy to fix. Allen Raymond

Horrible Placement of Release Valve

The second time I used it, I pulled it up a small concrete step-up and the valve at the bottom of the tank took a small blow because the wheels were not totally square when I lifted it up the step. I immediately heard air escape and knew what happened. Surely there is a bright engineer at Dewalt that could come up with a better design.

TERRIBLE COMPRESSOR

|

Barely used and will not build pressure. No leaks, when disconnecting pipe from compressor to tank can feel compressor building air however with just a little bit of backpressure the motor can barely turn compressor over! Rpm's on motor slow way down which is why it can't build any pressure. What's the fix for that?

Great Compressor

|

This compressor is one of the best investments i have ever made. It is not loud for an oil free compressor and is a great size. Due to having a fairly compact vertical tank, It doesn't take up much room in my shop. It provides more than enough air for working on my vehicles and lawn mowers. The weight of it makes it very sturdy, yet it is light enough to take to work sites away from home without hassle. i can load it on my trailer easily by myself and with a helper it goes in the bed of a pickup with ease. again, taking up minimal space. This compressor is a winner.

Outstanding compressor for homeowners and DYI

|

I've had this compressor over a year and love it. It's perfect for homeowner DIY and auto repair/garage work. It's quiet, about half the volume of my little pancake compressor. Refills quickly, and gives plenty of air to run impact wrench, nail guns and anything else I can throw at it. I use it all the time.

Not So Great

|

I bought this unit as a backup to my office only 6 months ago. I brought it home to attach to a latex paint sprayer and it completely self-destructed. Smoke, sparks and all.
