It was almost a good product.

The fact that you can use 18v and 20v style batteries is fantastic, but that is about all that I can say positive about this radio. It does not charge either style battery. The sound is poor. The radio receiver is weak. And to top it all off, I have had it less than two years and the volume knob has failed. Spin the knob up and the volume level may increase or decrease it you spin and mess with it long enough. Worthless. Apparently you cant service or replace the knob either. Dewalt is my choice for durable dependable work tools, this radio is neither. Disappointed.

Keep you on your feet

This really helps keep the moral up and keeps you working without getting as tired. The Bluetooth adapter lets you play the type of music you like even way out in the country.

Great Portable Radio

|

This radio is what it is, its a portable job site radio not a mega boom box. It runs on 12v/18v/20v Dewalt batteries, it will run for days on a 18v battery, what more could you want.
Plays from external source through AUX cable, will charge your USB device. Good FM & AM reception.
If your looking for a rugged, portable, affordable radio then this is the one.
If your looking for Bluetooth, MP3 player, stereo boom box, spend the extra $100 and get the next model up.
