Relief valve problem

I bouhgt 20v max grease gun new about six months ago and up untill recentely it worked as good as you could ask for it to. I put one tube of grease through it five days a week I use it to grease a large CAT wheel loader.now for what ever reason the preasure relief valve kicks out before the motor even starts to tighten up.Dewalt advertises this gun to have 10,000 psi and is one of the main reasons i got it and fact that I like dewalt tools. I can grease this machine with an old hand gun so I know the grease lines are not clogged and I don't think I can get 10,000psi with an old hand gun?

Poor Quality control, broken right out of the box.

Got this gun a week ago and right out the box first use motor was grinding, tool still functioned but sounds terrible, thought it might be me but borrowed a friends tool and used them side by side on an excavator and mine is definitely broken. However the tool still functioned as it should, got it to replace a 10 year old 14.4 Lincoln PowerLuber (still works but batteries are on their way out) I must say its much heavier than the Lincoln but it has several features I like, a much longer hose to reach fittings then you have the gun on your side using the shoulder strap, the light is great, I no longer have to juggle a flashlight and a grease gun. The battery life is amazing I have been using to grease a Cat 320 excavator with a hammer 3 times a day and filling the automatic greaser for the hammer all week and still have 2 bars on the 4 amp battery and gone through at least 10 tubes of grease. Now trying to get this gun fixed which is proving to be a mission.
