"Cables" - Nice, pure copper, 4 gauge, 20 foot long. Long enough for front-to-back jumping, so much safer for highway jumping allowing you to pull behind someone, without having to turn the car around front-to-front and risk a head on accident. Nice insulation jacket. "Clamps" - So/So. Decent clamps, but could be better. Will work for now. "Case" - Cheap. When you look at the pictures, you almost think it is a blow mold type of case. But the case is very thin and cheap plastic. Also, once you remove the cables from the case, you can forget about rolling them back up and storing them in the case. The cables from the factory fit perfectly in the box, but once unrolled, plan on spending 15 minutes getting them to fit back in the box. I wish the box was 25% larger, so you could quickly roll the cables back up and throw them in the case. "Gloves and Glasses" - Good quality, definitely good enough to give hand and eye protection for a jump start. "Country of Origin" - China.
Absolute garbage. I bought these cables a couple years ago and now the entire insulation is cracked throughout. I took them back to Sears to see if they would replace them (guess I confused DieHard with Craftsman) and they said that the cables only had a one year warranty. They are MAYBE 5 years old. The tech told me that rubber doesn't last longer than 5 years out west and that I should just wrap electrical tape around them (not only is that not true, the tape is an awful idea). I didn't buy the $19 pair, I bought the $69 pair. Terrible quality. So very disappointed. Sears use to sell such better products.
Great length and I love the four gauge cable. This thing is going to last a long time. :-)
Work great, good quality
