My Kia battery died so I did what I was "supposed" to do; go to the dealer, get a new battery. My dealer was charging me way more than it should, until a friend recommended to go to Sears and get a DieHard battery, I did, so glad! With points and discounts I got it for $40 bucks less than a Kia battery and the warranty is awesome too. They are true to their name, these batteries DIE HARD!
Purchased this battery as it was labeled as 700 CCA both in the Die Hard book (have photos) and web site. Sears technicians also told me multiple times it was 700 CCA as I had multiple issues with it. After months of issues, looked at battery and it has 670 CCA on the label. Returned it 6 months ago, still waiting on refund.
needed a new battery for the wife's car due to the old battery had a bad cell. plan on trading the car soon (less than 8 month's) so I fiqured a 2 year battery will be enough till we get her a new auto.
The battery is good, but their ****** SERVICE is what makes it horrible to order online and “pickup same day”. I ordered the battery yesterday May 7th and chose the pickup in store option (same day), they told me I had to wait for the pick-up confrontation email. I waited, now we’re at tomorrow and still NOTHING! I called customer service numerous times and kept saying that they’ll “call me back” to confirm the order. As of now NOTHING!! I ordered online because it was almost $20 cheaper and these CLOWNS don’t honor they’re online prices in store, which is pretty stupid because all other big major businesses do! HORRIBLE SERVICE, STAY AWAY!!
