Nice clamping capability and do not get hot.

I've had these cables for about a year and used them several times mostly to help out neighbors and stranded motorists. The clamp on almost any kind of post and the 6 gauge wire is great for keeping amperage loss to a minimum. My other cables would heat up and at one point started to smoke. These cables don't even get warm. I am getting a set for my son to carry in his Jeep.

Not as described or depicted

One look at the photo and you think you are getting the nice looking Gold Diehard 6 Gauge Booster Cables as shown ? WRONG ! What you really get is a cheap generic black/orange thin gauge booster cable with small battery jaws/clamps which looks like the cables are sold for $ 5 in lunk stores everywhere Sent this one back for a refund

Nice thick cables. 16 foot long also so they reach a good distance.

6 gauge jumper cables

These are a good set of well constructed medium duty cables. You will appreciate the 16 foot length if you have been using shorter cables.
