Good battery Gold Version is worth few extra dollars

The DieHard Gold group 35 size battery is good battery and worth the few dollars extra. DieHard Gold is actually the best battery sears sells (outside the Optima which may be special order). The DieHard Advanced Gold is an AGM battery but is a terrible battery. This is a rebadged Johnson Controls Interstate Mega-Tron Plus MTP-35. On sale it may be a good deal but keep in mind it's just a plus version Interstate. Almost all car batteries (besides the awesome AGM Optimas) are from Johnson Controls/ Interstate Battery (decent quality), East Penn/ Deka (a little better but not much), and Exide (junk!). They're just rebadged with names like Die Hard or Duralast or Mega Sucks (the Exide store brand).

Sears White Plains, NY Service Department

Excellent battery. It is a household name of batteries an it works very well. The Sear Auto Service Department mechanics and personnel did a great job of installing my new car battery.
