Bought this charger to jump start my wife's 2015 Mustang GT that had a dead battery. AAA jumped it off first and we drove it for nearly an hour but when we parked it - dead again. Got the charger at Sears so we could get the car started and take it to the dealer. Once unit was charged jump started the car even faster than the unit AAA used. Like the fact that you have alternate power sources on this unit so you can charge cell phones or plug in lights in the event of a power outage. This unit is heavier and bigger than the lithium units, but do not trust lithium batteries if you forget to unplug them or if they get too hot.
Fairly simply product that would hold a charge up to 100 percent and I always felt confident it would be ready if I needed it. Well was I wrong. At the 10 month point it started only charging up to 70 percent. Here I am at 11 months from purchase and it only holds charge up to 10 percent. Not enough juice to jump anything. So over the past year it would have been cheaper to call a tow company for a jump instead of dropping over $100 on this big paper weight. I'm sure I'll have no luck bringing it back to sears since it was a gift from last Christmas. I'll probably get hit with a disposal fee. Lol. Perfect.
Will start a space ship our a Saturn how can you go wrong with sears and die hard give it a try you will be happy
