I give this boot no stars

Let me start by saying I have always been a fan of Diehard boots...I order a different model for myself all the time and have had no problem with them...However These boots are literally faling apart. Bought them for my 18 year old son who is a college student & only works on weekends. I am shocked that sears would sell such a crappy boot. I think I could have done better with a 20 or 30 dollar boot from *******! They said that it is out of warranty because it is over 3 months (4 months old & used 16-20 times & ready for trash!) HUH! Sears used to have a 1 year warranty on their boots...I guess this is a sad sign of the times...don't don't don't buy these boots you will be sorry! So people keep in mind the 3 month policy and if you have any problem with any boots even the slightest in that time period get right on it! Lesson Learned on my end!

Excellent product

This is the second pair of these work boots I have purchased over the past 5 - 6 years. They fit well, wear well and are reasonably priced.

why change the soles ?

who decided to change the soles? did you do any research or did someone who wears loafers all day make tie change for the worse?

Very happy with this boot. My husband is in construction. It is very comfortable for all day wear. With lots of walking. Only con, they changed the sole from smooth to a lug style. The new sole picks up small rocks and mud, dirt, leaves and all that gets tracked into the house.

Poor Construction

Purchased these boots on a Christmas sale - good price but poor quality. Neither tongue lays properly and the inboard rivets rub the shin - worn them twice and should send back!
