I have been buying these boots for the past 15 years. I'm a heavy duty mechanic and spend about 10 hours a day on my feet. There the most comfortable and supported boot I've ever worn. Each pair has lasted about 18 too 24 months. The soles doesn't wear. They offer excellent non-slip ability.. I wear them out from the inside. The leather just starts to wear away from the inside.. Only problem I've had is availability for replacement of this product of time to time. So I by the brown ones when there's no Black..
A lot of walking. Sole is very soft and tears up within months. Very poorly made.
I bought these boots on sale, and had a coupon code, so I ended up getting 40% off.
For that price, these boots are unbeatable. They broke in after about one week of daily wear, and they are very comfortable. They are rugged and utilitarian boots, so if you are looking for stylish and attractive, look elsewhere.
I do recommend these boots to anyone looking for a basic comfortable work boot without any toe protection.
I started buying these Diehard 6" tall boots when I was in my early 20's and working in the homebuilding field. I'm now 53 and purchased them again. I am on my feet a lot and fekk tge need to have comfortable footwear. I purchased the last pair that I purchased in 2014 and wore them every day six days a week. I do put my own custom insole. However, although I tried other shoes, I keep coming back to these.
I was thrilled to find out that in addition to the brown (which is what I've always worn), I was able to get them in black which I love because It combines the rugged appearance of a boot with a slighly (almost) "dressy" look. This works for me because I work on jobsites, but also meet with clients and business people (often juggling between the dual-roles numerous times daily).
