My husband is an ironworker and he goes through a pair of boots every 3 months. They literally get shredded, but better his shoes than his feet. He always these boots and so we are so stoked when they are on sale. He's tried other, more expensive boots but he always comes back to these.
I wore these boots only occasionally and only on dirt and grass -- a total of about 20 times, or the equivalent of less than three weeks' daily wear -- and the soles started to crack, break, and fall apart around the welt stitching near the toe. If you read other reviews of this boot (including the steel toe and 6-inch models), you'll find that this is a frequent problem, and (of course) Sears won't make it right if the problem occurs after 30 days. It's clear that Sears is using cheap, substandard material to save a buck and stick you with a defective item. Buyer beware!
After I purchased the first pair of these boots 15 years ago, I was impressed with their durability and comfort. Nothing compares even at twice the price. Best work boots I’ve ever had.
Great product but my husband can't wear them because I'm going to have to travel hour and half and waste 35.00 I gas to get a alarm off to give him theses for Christmas . And a four hour round trip .. probably my last purchase from Sears
