My husband is an ironworker and he goes through a pair of boots every 3 months. They literally get shredded, but better his shoes than his feet. He always these boots and so we are so stoked when they are on sale. He's tried other, more expensive boots but he always comes back to these.
I wore these boots only occasionally and only on dirt and grass -- a total of about 20 times, or the equivalent of less than three weeks' daily wear -- and the soles started to crack, break, and fall apart around the welt stitching near the toe. If you read other reviews of this boot (including the steel toe and 6-inch models), you'll find that this is a frequent problem, and (of course) Sears won't make it right if the problem occurs after 30 days. It's clear that Sears is using cheap, substandard material to save a buck and stick you with a defective item. Buyer beware!
I have wore out many a boot in my life none more comfortable than Die-hard. This purchase is my 5th pair in a row there is no better lasting boot out there.
Very happy like the shoes iwill buy another pair and recomend to a freind.
On 3-11-2019 I ordered a pair of work boots. I payed 15:99 for overnight shipping. On 3-12-19 I received Craftsman 20-PC ratcheting combination wrench set. Called customer service and at first the wanted wrench's back and I had to reorder boots. Finally just asked for refund! I was on hold 45 minutes. I have to wait 3-5 days to get money back. My husband has wore these boots for his career for 25 years. BYE BYE SEARS!
