Easy to use. Nice readout.
This machine is junk. First off, the cat 5 cable wasn't exposed long enough straight from assembly and out of box for me to plug handle into unit. Second, the display lights (bottom row)burnt out on second use. Sure it charges a battery over a 72 hour period, but really not impressed for the money spent.
Bought this to replace my old DieHard analog charger 30 years old, but not working great. Had a pickup truck with stone cold dead battery, and this new charger says that cables are not hooked up. Had to use the old analog standby to get some life in the batteries before this one will charge them. Starting a pickup truck with Quick Start setting? Again, will not work if batteries are down to zero. You will need the old analog charger to get it going. Apparently, all the new Digital chargers, like this one, suffer this same issue. They don't read any charge so they say that the cables are unhooked. Whomever owns DieHard nowadays needs to fix this issue. When you need a charger most is when the batteries are stone cold dead. This one is not a winner. Hang onto your old analog chargers, just in case. Otherwise this one works fine.
A great buy!!
The 275A Battery Charger has brought batteries thought dead back to full functional capacity. And it works on old technology/new technology batteries.
Too many great features.....best of all charges my optima battery (AGM), and gives me a percentage of when it completes it's task. People on here having a hard time assembling must be tards, putting this thing together is a brease. Doesn't take an engineer to put together.
