Plenty of functions with the washer. Quiet as well.
Initially the washer was fantastic. It washed the clothing very well and it was better than what we previously purchased. It was noticeably smoother and quieter than other machines we've had in the past. But now - I've had two major repairs in the last few months. It's just over one year since we purchased new. First it was the shocks going out which caused a loud squeaking noise and shaking of the machine and now we have replaced one of the pumps due to a loud buzzing noise that alerted the tech of a failed pump. I have another technician scheduled to return for the pump issue just 3 days later for the same buzzing sound, if not louder. It's not a simple buzzing sound. It's very loud and I almost hate to turn the machine on because of it. I am disappointed at this time with Electrolux and this washing machine. Sears on the other hand has been great as usual. Highly recommend their maintenance and warranty programs. We've had the policies for years on different products and they seem to pay for themselves.
Washer is nice but Seal is heavy VOCs, terrible, won't gas off and no product helps it, tried several. Delivery service was also terrible, they tried 5 times to deliver items, order by Sears and Logistic company was totally bobbled. After so many phone calls, hours of wasted time i finally got the product delivered with needed service install. BUT, Unfortunately, the guys did not have all the ordered parts for set up, (steamer hose) and the dryer/washer set up could not be completed, AND the Washer door had a broken latch and machine was dented on out side.Took another week to get part from 3rd party before i could use it, Sears would not replace part but wanted to have me return the washer, Really, what a joke. They compensated me $149 for the dent which was just barely acceptable considering all the hassle, etc. Making my order out online was very hard too, service chat could not get it right for order to go thru but ultimately was helpful with all parts needed to order for washer and dryer. I wish Sears was the Sears we used to know, so much has changed. I will seriously rethink ordering any appliances in the future from them.
First of all I haven't received it yet. And second I ordered and have already paid for both. Your services leaves much to be desired. Right now your an "F"
The washer started leaking from the minute it was delivered. 2 years and 4 repairs later, it still leaks. Of course, it?s not under warranty any longer. Electrolux is officially the worst company I have dealt with. I also found out from the tech this was a common problem with the washer. I was told they would just keep replacing parts - clearly randomly since nothing ever gets fixed. Well, they won. I have given up. I?ll wipe the floor, I?ll spread the word, and put my money elsewhere. Just glad this happened early on and all major appliances that I have replaced in the last two years were obviously NOT Electrolux. Avoid at all costs.
We?ve had the machine for about a month. It?s great. Love the choices, the delay option, the sanitizer open, the light when I open the door. Clothes are very clean.
