DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS ONLINE. I waited a month for confirmation of delivery of my washing machine. My card was charged immediately. My delivery date was pushed another week because Sears did not have the item. ??? Then why was I charged. This machine was for a vacation home. I finally received confirmation of delivery and went all the way to the vacation home... waited all day. I finally called Sears for the delivery status and was told this order was cancelled. Really? I learned my lesson. This is not your daddy's Sears. Don't shop online. Support your local shops. I am going straight to an appliance shop and buy my washing machine. I know I will get excellent customer service and I will be happy knowing that I am supporting local business. Big time thumbs down to Sears online. Brick and Mortar shops are the way to go.
Initially the washer was fantastic. It washed the clothing very well and it was better than what we previously purchased. It was noticeably smoother and quieter than other machines we've had in the past. But now - I've had two major repairs in the last few months. It's just over one year since we purchased new. First it was the shocks going out which caused a loud squeaking noise and shaking of the machine and now we have replaced one of the pumps due to a loud buzzing noise that alerted the tech of a failed pump. I have another technician scheduled to return for the pump issue just 3 days later for the same buzzing sound, if not louder. It's not a simple buzzing sound. It's very loud and I almost hate to turn the machine on because of it. I am disappointed at this time with Electrolux and this washing machine. Sears on the other hand has been great as usual. Highly recommend their maintenance and warranty programs. We've had the policies for years on different products and they seem to pay for themselves.
The washer started leaking from the minute it was delivered. 2 years and 4 repairs later, it still leaks. Of course, it’s not under warranty any longer. Electrolux is officially the worst company I have dealt with. I also found out from the tech this was a common problem with the washer. I was told they would just keep replacing parts - clearly randomly since nothing ever gets fixed. Well, they won. I have given up. I’ll wipe the floor, I’ll spread the word, and put my money elsewhere. Just glad this happened early on and all major appliances that I have replaced in the last two years were obviously NOT Electrolux. Avoid at all costs.
We’ve had the machine for about a month. It’s great. Love the choices, the delay option, the sanitizer open, the light when I open the door. Clothes are very clean.
We pruchased this washer about 2 months ago and have no complaints, this thing really cleans!! It has all the options to ensure all of the clothes are carefully washed on the type it has the steam cycle which really gets after the hard to come clean stains.
Have used our machine for about 2 months now. It does everything well as described. We rarely hear it when running. Capacity is a huge plus. Had read about HE machines having long wash times compared to conventional top loaders but it seems about on par with our old machine on that front. We leave the front of washer open slightly between washes and so far have had no mildew smell.
recommend anybody looking for a top-of-the-line washer to buy this electrolux smart boost washer. Honestly the best washer on the market with stain soak, active wear setting, and POD soap capabilities. I have the matching dryer and am thrilled with both!
