I fell in love with this table..you definately need the pads/cushions to comolete look abd the storafe is great too.
Worst piece of **** I've ever bought! Took forever to be delivered to the store then once I take it out of the box I see it is scratched all over and some pieces broken! Called the manufacturer, online kmart number and store I picked it up from and nobody seems to want to deal with it. And after trying to assemble the pieces that weren't broken or damaged we realized most of the screws won't go in correctly or are extremely hard to get in even with a drill. Save your money and buy something worth your money!
We’ve only had this table a month and already there are so many scratches in the wood. The wood is so soft that you just set something down and there’s a ding. Spend a little more and get a better quality table.
Instructions say "screwdriver " for the tools needed but I HIGHLY recommend a drill. Besides that, I absolutely love it!
The nook might be nice, but I guess I'll never know. The delivery made it to the town next to us, but the sender requested a return. We ordered the product on February 22. It's March 11, and I still have not received my money back. Do not purchase online. Sears tried to charge me 3 times for the product (only the 1st payment went through), which caused my bank to cancel my debit card. Yet, I never received the product (or a refund at this point).
We needed a table that could be out of the way when needed. This thing is perfect!! My husband assembled it so I can't comment on that thoroughly but he didn't seem to have too much trouble with it. As for the looks of it after the fact WOW!! it is absolutely amazing. The seats open for additional storage and you can move the table easily to make it take up even less space. It is absolutely beautiful. I could not be any happier.
This is a pretty durable dining set for the price, and it looks pretty good once it's been fully assembled. It is made out of real wood and it has substantial heft to it. The biggest drawback is that it was quite arduous to assemble. The instructions suggest that assembly can be completed with just a screwdriver and Allen key but after getting it about 40% assembled, we found that it was difficult to sink the screws fully into the back support for the corner bench. Wound up needing a driver/drill to finish putting it together but have been pretty pleased with it since. Some of the already assembled dining sets that you'd buy at a furniture store for more money are not as sturdy as this!
