I was worried that these curtain rods wouldn't be strong enough for my thermal curtains, but they work great! They are very sturdy, hold heavy curtains, and are perfect for use with sheers too. I like that the brackets go in the same holes as single brackets so there's no extra drilling. For the price this set of curtain rods is an exceptional value!

better than decent curtain rods at a very decent price
|It's been years since I had to buy curtain rods, and I was shocked at the prices they command these days.
When I found there at Kmart online, I figured they must be of rather low quality, since the Kmart price was so much better than elsewhere.
I was happily surprised. These rods are of more than decent quality, and I expect them to last for many years to come.
Too close together
|The rods are to close together so you can't work the curtains independently. Kind of stinks to find that out after the hard work of hanging it up. Also does not work with grommet curtains. Package came with extra rod which I thought was a support rod but I was unable to get it to fit in any of the rods and bent the main curtain rod trying to do so. Needless to say these will be going back. Wish they worked.
