This oval sprint tension rod is a decent, but just make you tighten it at the right location because it bend the metal at that spot. Therefore, you won't be able to adjust later. I recommend to extend the rod only 2 cm rather than 1 inch as the tension is too great.
This tension rod is good, in theory, but harder to use in practice. You tighten the location of where a screw is placed, but it locks the length of the tension rod so that it cannot be placed well in a different length. When compressing the rod, it didn't hold up under the pressure well enough for me.
