The problem with this vacuum is that the extension wand is very, very flimsy, it bends so easily, and it actually broke in two recently. Now I'm having to find a way to duct tape the broken joint with steel rods and try to stiffen it up. The vacuum has very good suction, but the wand it self is terrible. The wall thickness needs to be twice as thick. The canister unit is light enough to be dragged around easily which is good.
The Mighty Mite has been our household vacuum for roughly 10 years - in our newly built home on a 325 acre farm for the last 7. It has handled all tasks from the routine to the out of ordinary, e.g, wood stove exterior cleanup and indoor firewood debris, mudroom maintenance, and indoor starter seedlings mess - not to mention all in the in and out that goes on. A very trusted tool.
This is a very good vacuum, it works very well and is versatile. Lots of power, moves around well and has appropriate attachments.
