I love these gates, they are inexpensive and last through almost anything. I am a mom to 4 boys so you know they get plenty of abuse in my house, they are climbed over (by my older boys) and bumped into all the time. They even work well for the puppy until they are tall enough to jump over them. I own 2 of these gates to block my kitchen. They keep my 2 yr old out from under my feet which I LOVE! My suggestion is when putting it in your doorway make sure to use the right amount of notches before pushing it down. IF you don't do enough it won't stay put, just move it one or two more and it should be close to fitting perfect. DON'T Force the wooden bar down if it is too tight just move it back a notch this will prevent breakage. YIPPY for Mommies sanity EVERYWHERE!
this gate was a great price but it did not lock in place like it was supposed to nor did it fit any of my doorways. i will be returning it and paying more for another. you get what you pay for!
This is your basic infant safety gate that's been around for ever. It's simple, affordable, and sturdy. It can even be used as a pet gate and costs less than those in the pet department.
I originally bought this item for my elderly cat that has since past away at 23 years old. Originally it took a little working to figured out how it worked but once the light bulb went on it worked great. I gave this wood gate to my neighbor for her grandchild to block the stairs on the top floor.
too easy to break.
I thought they would be great because they are light and I have a back condition. The first one broke when I lightly attached it to the wall. I purchased two I thought well I got a lemon but the second one broke the same way with normal use the second time I used it! Light wood but not strong enough for even normal use!
I purchased this gate so my one year old wouldn't try going upstairs. Well, it did not work out well. It does not secure how its suppose to. I don't know if its just doing it on mine, but it can probably work for others.
