Everlast Bag on a stick (?)

Great little bag on a stick by Everlast! If only, it came with the gloves required to use it; it hurts my knuckles and I'll be looking for the best gloves for my hands! It's easy to assemble and filling the bottom with water is just as simple! Great buy!

Everlast Universal Heavy Bag Hanger didn't last long!

I purchased this product because it seemed like the right fit my needs.  I have a 100 lb. heavy bag that I needed to suspend from the i-beam in my basement ceiling.  I was searching the web for something that would be safe for both my daughter and myself and handle the stress and constant punching and kicking from our workouts.  Then I came across the Everlast hanger.  I thought, "yes, this is what I'm looking for.  I'll buy it.  But first let me see if they sell it locally and ready for pick up."  I found it in a couple of places but went to the retailer closest to me.  When I got it home I was thinking, "...yeah I'm going work up a good sweat and relieve some stress from work."  When I began installing, first thing I noticed was that the sleeve wasn't long enough to wrap around my i-beam.  So I figured that wouldn't be a problem.  After installing per the instruction and less than two minutes of punching on the bag, it fell.  The plastic clip that came with kit broke.  I was upset and thinking what else could I use.  Then I thought about a ratchet tie down strap.  I went to my local hardware store, purchased the strap for around $3.50, which holds up to 100 lbs.  and took it home.  Suffice it to say, it was the better product. So I say, before you purchase an accessory that would compliment your main product, look in unlikely places for the better product.
