Great Expectations !!

After reading a few of the reviews and comparing a few brands, I gave this 14" Rage 2 saw a shot and I am pleased! I need to cut cold metal stock for welding and all sorts of things in various thicknesses. I just finished cutting multiple 3" wide x 1/4 (.25) steel stock and the saw did a GREAT job so I wanted to share the great results. I am pleased with the construction, it's durable and weights approx 61 pounds. The clamp / vice is NOT flimsy and works well and can be adjusted for different angles. The saw has a tray to pick up the metal shards and its easy to empty.. But the saw will sends some shards flying! One drawback...the blade isnt made to cut "stainless steel"...I am sure one can be put on but there expensive. Otherwise the cuts are GREAT no regrets!! I ALWAYS WEAR THE PROTECTIVE SAFETY GLASSES INCLUDED WITH THE PRODUCT.. I am glad Sears offered this saw ...Thank you !!!
