Exerpeutic4000 Recumbent Bike

This is my second recumbent bike that I have purchased in my 68 years of life. The last bike (a Norditrack brand) I paid for a technician to put it together. This time I decided I would try to put it together based on the reviews I read about how easy it was to assemble. After 3.5 hours I was on my bike peddling away to better health. The assembly instructions were very good & the tools were provided. If you take the time to read the instructions first, one will not have any problems. Once assembled the use was comfortable & the bike is very quiet. Well constructed & worth the cost. I recommend this bike to anyone on their way to improving their health & knees, which is why I initially bought this bike. Great product!

Do not buy this product

I purchased the bike as a second option to work out on the days that I can not make it to the gym. After doing a little research the bike received good reviews. So, I figured why not, the price is not bad as well. But it does not work. The control unit will not cut on. I have followed the trouble shooting direction and yet no success. I thought I could at least use it with out it the control unit.... Wrong, the peddles are not calibrated properly and will not turn properly with out it. Bottom line pay a little more money for a better brand.

Chair is not stable

|

I bought this because A-we are tall and B-we need the extra weight suitability. Though everything else went together easily, the seat will NOT stay stable. It rocks back and forth when you ride the bike. It does this when the seat is all the way back-which is what we need due to height. I have asked company if way to rectify it-no response. This is the only down fall so far. We have had a few months and ride it quite a bit. I just hope it holds up for the cost.
