Exceptional Value

It is very reasonable, efficient with energy use & does a great job of heating up my kitchen in back of house that has tile floors & gets very cold without it. My electric bill has not been extremely high either! I loved the one I bought for the other half of my house (it's a twin & I needed to heat it as well) so much that I bought this one! I recommend it to anyone who has a hard-to-heat space. It easily heats 2 large rooms (13x13x13 {height} in 30* temps. with setting only at 75*. It also is UL listed, which is the rating of the wiring, etc., in conformance to US standards. A lot of appliances, small appliances, heaters, etc., are ETL rated, which is in conformance to European electric currency, which is not as powerful in ampage & so if used in the US, would overheat the item, causing fires. Kenmore products can be trusted to be UL listed.

Mine is five years old and still ticking

I bought this model in 2014 and it works great, in both winter and summer (I live in Phoenix). The price is a bit higher now than it was in 2014, of course. I also bought two smaller Frigidaire units for the bedrooms in my house. I save about $100 a month in AC costs during the summer. My experience is that these smaller units are more durable than the 3-ton unit on my roof, which I use only when I need to cool the whole house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
