Description Specifications
The First Alert Smoke Alarm with Smart Sensing Technology and Nuisance Resistance is equipped to detect smoke particles caused by both flaming and smoldering fires. For convenience, it allows you to mute false alarms remotely using any remote control and without compromising the alarm's functionality. Fast flaming fires spread quickly and leave minutes, maybe seconds, to react. Smoldering fires burn long and can unknowingly fill the home with smoke causing smoke inhalation. The alarm's smart sensing microchip helps determine the difference between non-threatening conditions and real emergencies. This smoke alarm also provides dual sensor technology for maximum protection. While all smoke alarms are designed to detect smoke, different sensing technologies react differently to certain types of fires. This alarm makes use of both ionization and photoelectric sensors to offer the earliest possible warning, regardless of the type of fire.

  • Utilizes both ionization and photoelectric smoke sensors
  • Smart sensing technology
  • EZ access battery door
  • Two AA batteries included
  • Loud 85db alarm
  • Meets UL217 standard for dual sensor home smoke detectors
  • Test/silence button
  • 10-year limited warranty

Shipping was fantastic! Easy to install. It has photoelectric and ionization technologies for added protection. It also has a silence feature. Used surprise points and paid less than six bucks!!!

No remote control feature

Contrary to the product description the Model# SA320CN DOES NOT "allow you to mute false alarms remotely using any remote control". You have to use Test/silence button

I would buy this again as a backup from wired detectors.

|

Purchased six items online and picked-up at the Sears store. Installation is DIY and so far all working as expected (note: Wrote the review within two months after install).

5 stars for dual-sensing technology.

|

Also high marks for ease of installation, and good looks. Luckily it hasn't had an opportunity to alarm, other than testing, but it worked fine then.

Great Dual function smoke detector

|

I bought two of these with the ion sensor and photo electric sensor to keep my family safe. They are a good price and even come with batteries. Simple to install and they get the job done. Great price, and love ship to store to save on shipping.
